Yu Garden → Shanghai Urban Planning Center → High-Speed Train to Suzhou

Morning: Visit Yu Garden, a masterpiece of Ming Dynasty landscape design built over 450 years ago. Explore the exquisite pavilions, rockeries, and ponds, then wander through the bustling Yuyuan Bazaar where you can taste local snacks like xiaolongbao (soup dumplings).

Midday: Visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, which features a massive 1:500 scale model of the entire Shanghai city center — a fascinating look at the city's past, present, and future.

Afternoon: Your guide will escort you to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station for a 30-minute high-speed train to Suzhou. Upon arrival, your Suzhou guide will meet you and take you to your hotel.

Evening: Explore Suzhou's ancient Shantang Street, a historic canal-side street dating back over 1,200 years. The illuminated buildings and waterways create a magical atmosphere.

Midday: Explore the Humble Administrator's Garden, Suzhou's largest and most famous classical garden. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997, this masterpiece of Jiangnan garden design combines buildings, ponds, bridges, paths, and trees in perfect harmony.

Afternoon: Stroll along Pingjiang Road, a historical street dating back to the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279 AD). This well-preserved ancient lane runs parallel to a canal, offering a glimpse into Suzhou's timeless charm with its traditional architecture, teahouses, and local craft shops.
